I did try a search so forgive me if this is an easy one. How do I get the percent to display on the stock battery icon. I don’t want a new icon, I want it on the oem icon. Thanks.

I ditched my HTC for another Motorola. I missed the call quality of my Q.
Seems such I small thing to have a way to know the battery percentage. It's arguably the # 1 concern of any mobile user, Yet they only give me a little green smudge to judge remaining battery.

    Its a flashable file

There are widgets you could have on your main screen I suppose :/

Yes I have tried a couple and it just seems like a waste of space.

I see a lot of FC comments. Do you have any issues with it...even small ones?

I've been running it for months without any problems.

    * Is that flashable file ROM specific?

CyanogenMod let's you do a number of status bar tweaks.

If you can't install CM, you may wanna download a battery monitor app by Molaten or something.

sysmonitor. The app Battery indicator is simpler, though.

There are a couple of widgets you could use such as
Mini info - a small widget displaying battery and memory levels or ,
Minimalist text - a very customizable text widget that can display a lot of different info.

    Hope this helps.
