I downloaded a movie on my phone using utorrent app but cannot delete the folder afterwards although the folder content is showing 0MB. Attampt to delete with my laptop (widows) is showing error: wire protected. I used IO file manager and is reading "unable to delete". Thanks for prompt response. FYI I am not using external card.

Go to settings, apps, and find the utorrent app, open it up and hit force stop. Then go back to your file manager and try to delete it again.

Perhaps the app is still running and accessing the folder therefore you can not delete it.

Rooted means having superuser permissions to access every folder on the phone.

Whoaasa...Scott. Rooting voids warranty. Big difference than actually being "legal"!

But isn't it common to reload the original software and to then be able to make warranty claims? If you send it in rooted the warranty would be void, but I thought that could be "adjusted".

You could relock and unroot and do a warrenty claim, if you are crafty enough.
