    1) Turn the phone off
    2) Hold the power button and the "X" key on the keyboard. The Motorola logo will appear and then after that a yellow triangle.
    3) Hold the camera button and the volume up button until it takes you to a menu
    4) Use the arrow pad next to the keyboard to select "hard reset"
    5) Select the "yes" option.
The phone will now reset everything back to default.

    Now to bypass activation --
When you first start up the phone (after hard reset) a little droid bot will appear in the middle with text saying "touch the droid to begin" Simply touch the top left corner, top right, lower right and lower left corner of the screen to bypass to the home screen. Enjoy your droid's features without phone service :D

I think this would be good if you for some reason you went on a trip and locked your phone then came back and forgot your password.
