    Hallo,

I have a bunch of problems with the Google play website.I have an android xperia x8 phone with firmware 2.1 - update 1. I have the android market application installed on the phone but when i try to download any application through my wi-fi connection, the download is always unsuccessful.I tried to download an app from the google play website but when i get in the site I receive a security warning that says that the site name does not respond to the certificate name.I ignore these warnings and try to download an application but my attempt is again unsuccessful since i get this message :

"You haven’t accessed the Google Play Store app on your device with this email account"

I tried to download the google play application apk file by an external site (by enabling unknown resources ) but there is a package parsing error and i cannot install it.

    Any help??

    Thanks in advance

Is it one particular program or any program you try to install?

Double check you are actually logged on with the same account on the phone as you are with the website...
    What country are you in?

i am in greece.Yes i have looked at the link above but i can't find a solution.Does my case lie in this bullet?

You’re signed in with a Google Apps account that has not been migrated to the new Google Apps infrastructure These types of accounts cannot use the Google Play website and must use the Google Play Store app on device instead.

What i should do in this case? I can't get it.

Google apps is if you have a domain with google... ie; @dane131.com rather than @gmail.com

    Do you have that?

Yea so then its not a google apps problem.
I wonder if its country related...perhaps you send an email to their support

The Market should have updated to the Play Store

Ok I know the issue now. The Play Store is only for phones with 2.3 and above, so your phone is only on 2.1.

There is a solution, but it requires you to root and load a custom ROM on your phone

You can download with the Market app on the phone, just not with the website

Go in to settings, apps open the market app and then clear cache
    See if that helps
