Can you explain a little more what is going on?
    Are you getting alerts? Messages?

Yes im getting alerts and messages, but when im doing anything on my phone e.g. playing a game or on the net or anything really, my phone vibrates in short bursts and my buttons at the bottom light up and wont go off, when im in an app it will jerk & vibrate a little then kick me back to my home screen, its weird & a bit annoying , I might add.

That is odd, have you installed any new software recently? Has it always done this? Did you upgrade to Froyo from Verizon yet?

    Hmm...that is a good one.
    Has it always done this?

    Maybe something internally is screwy...

Sorry I can't do more. Maybe take it to the carriers see if they can do a warranty swap.

have you tried upgrading the software yet? What it sounds like to me is that its thinking theres an email/text and alerting you to it when theres not. If I understood this correctly it is internal and proably best cured with a software update if possible.

You would'nt happen to know where I might start looking for an update would you, you know, like the best place to start looking, other than my carrier? I would appreciate any suggestions
