  2. Everything is on the leaflet that came with. Try to tale your time to read it carefully. if is not there, it indicate that your Samsung Galaxy S3 does not support the feature.

Take a look at the Samsung site. I believe their Kies software may be able to handle this between the two phones, but I am not positive. I think is is something like a "wizard" to transfer data from an old device to the new one.

What plan are you on, most come with loads of or unlimited text bundles. Use a spare Sim and just forward them all to your new phone.

Could always save them on to your sim card, think you can get about 20 at a time. You may also get the sender info at the same time, might take a while tho:)

Maybe you can export SMS to you computer first. An then import SMS to you new phone by some software.

That video doesn't really help, to my knowledge there is really no viable way to transfer text messages.

I got here by using google .. so, for all of you guys searching for a tool do convert sms from iPhone to Android, here's what I found http://www.ismsgrab.com/

Just sharing some knowledge, I had this problem too, and I've been searching for a couple of days now, take care :)
Works great, I used it with an iPhone 5 on iOS 6.0.1, going to an Xperia Ray, with ICS.

Yes, you can. But there's no direct way to transfer iPhone SMS to Android, because the iTunes cannot import those messages. You can follow:
    1. Connect both iPhone and Android phone to your PC
Please connect iPhone and Android phone to your computer at the same time.
    2. select "Test Messages" in the transfer window and click the button "Start Copy" to do the transfer. You should bear in mind that your phones need connecting all the time.
read more about iPhone sms transfer.

I never understood the desire to transfer texts between phones. Maybe I don't use texts like others do. I use it for "hey hon...on the way home" or "did you remember to call the bank". Can't imagine what critical information would be in a text that would require it to be saved forever and ever.

Perhaps they need to save them so at some point in the future they can actually review to see what people were saying. No one pays attention any more.
