So I rooted my Galaxy S using the Z4Root tool. Very easy enough. But I had to manually install BusyBox, as the Z4 did not install it. BusyBox reports my phone as being rooted. Since then I've noticed the phone is freezing up quite a bit, with me having to take the battery out to do a reboot.

I want to "unroot" the phone, and see if the problem persists. How do I unroot? Googling the Z4Root tool, says there should now be an "unroot" button. I don't see one anywhere. Am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance.

I rooted my Droid using this method last week. I just opened the app again. Was asked to grant superuser permissions. Tapped "yes". Was given 2 choices. "Root" or "unroot"....You aren't seeing this? Try running the z4root again. Make sure you get the version available in the market.

Ahh, that's where I went wrong. I downloaded the Z4Root from the net, and not the market. I uninstalled my version, installed the market version, rooted and I now see both options.

    Thanks Sherri, appreciate it )

Hello all... I'm new to android and am liking it )

I went to market and did not find z4root. Is there a market other than the link on my Epic?
