Dear Friends, I am a fresher to Android Phone - Samsung Galaxy Y.

I have taken new Y5360 mobile handset. Recently i have observed that so many services are running in RAM memory. I have stopped couple of services but after some time they are automatically coming UP and running. Please find the services using settings->Applications->Running Services->Running tab

The following services are always running. I would like to bring down couple of them permanently how can i do that. Please also note down i have switched off packet data.

    wssyncmlnps - 2.0MB
    DRM content - 1.7MB
    Software Update-4.5MB
    Google Services-6.0MB
    Email-5.3MB
    SNS-0MB
    SyncmIDS-4.2MB
    Swype-8.1MB

Android manages these in the background, and turns them on and off as needed. Do not worry about it.

Out of curiosity, why do you feel the need to second-guess the system? Stopping necessary services can have unintended effects.
