According to latest news and the broad casting media reports, samsung failed to deliver updates on the tablets series and note series handsets. also they are not well equipped and designed for any further updates. The news has put many Samsung android users into a question. what will they do for any future technologies phone in the market in the upcoming time, since they are using the samsung tablets and note series devices that are really very costly and worth one time buying and updating
The news has a very bad impression on the users at large discussing everywhere on the internet.

Guys the title is not on the NEXUS, it's just about the Galaxy S

Your title of the thread is misleading
The Nexus S WILL be updated, as it is a Nexus device and will be updated directly by Google.

And the Galaxy S and Original Tab will not be getting ICS directly from Samsung, but you are missing the beauty of Android, you can do it on your own if you MUST have ICS. And lets be honest, those of you who CARE about updates and are finding out ways to get them anyway possible are rooters and tinker-ers, and will have it or already have test ROMs on their phones.

My wife, who has a Facsinate, could give two S@!#s about what the next update is, is happy with her phone and how it runs.

As far as the original Tab is concerned, did you really think it would get ICS? It took way to long to get Gingerbread. You buy your phones and devices to use them not to expect updates because they are there. No one is really entitled to any updates, while yes it would be nice and awesome if everyone was updated with everything in a timely manner, that is not the case in the real world.

If you need the updates, then root and load up custom ROMs, and dig the Open OS eco-system.
